God, yoga and me

Kundalini yoga was a very special gift received on my path to inner healing .

I had been meditating intensely and regularly for 2 years, when one day the center where I thought I would spend a day of silence on Saturday no longer had a place for me .

It had seemed the strangest thing to me. It was a time when silence in my life was everything.

So - as often happened to me then - I meditated on the street, and with the question inside "why?" or "what will I do if I can't spend a day in silence tomorrow?" ...

My gaze fell on an A4 sheet hanging on a wall: Yoga Kundalini with Melanie. There was a phone number. I had called and booked my seat.

The next morning I had sweated as I had not done in years, I had reached the end of my strength (other than the yoga I knew where I was bored to stay still in an uncomfortable position for the whole body - perhaps I had not had a good teacher - euphemism) , I had cried during the deep relaxation, a sad and liberating cry, and then I had cried with joy at the end of the meditation and something inside me told me "welcome home" ._ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

I started practicing kundalini yoga every Saturday and every Monday.

Saturday and Monday.

Christian contemplation on Tuesday.

Thursday Zazen.

It was as if I was lifting myself up on a flying carpet, without my doing anything. The wind blew and the carpet shifted. My life was starting to turn better and better. I was becoming more and more confident. More and more stable in my decisions.

Not even nine months later I was starting training as a Kundalini yoga teacher for children, a story in itself, which I will certainly tell elsewhere.

Something (yoga kundalini) had caught me in its wonderful spiral.

Today I consider it one of the most powerful vacuum cleaners for negativity.

And yes, for the negativity to disappear, it has to go through the tube and that tube is us. It is not pleasant to see that dust all together, but necessary ...

Gradually I will enrich this page with the wonderful contents of the philosophy of kundalini yoga. For the moment I leave you two mantras that have certainly contributed to giving me a new life:

1

the mantra Sat Nam.

Sat is our identity.

Nam is the truth.

Together they are our search for the truth that dwells in us. Who are we really? What are we doing here on this planet today?

Do you remember the Greek “gnōthi sautón”? Know yourself. That famous inscription on the temple of Apollo in Delphi, the center of the (ancient?) World.

And the Latin nosce te ipsum?

And Jesus' invitation to discover the kingdom of God within us?

2

A very beautiful and "complete" mantra (from my point of view) because it offers protection, healing, guidance and consolation: GURU GURU WAHE GURU, GURU RAM DAS GURU

There are many versions of it on YouTube, choose the one you like best and see what happens inside you when you sing it ...

See you soon with kundalini yoga philosophy pills here, for you .
Sat Nam, find out who you are .
